Welcome to Notes & Tones Music Studio.

Lynnann Rivas has been teaching piano in the Rochester, NY area since 2009.  She has a degree in piano performance from Eastern Michigan University (BM, 2008) and a masters in Music Theory Pedagogy from the Eastman School of Music (MA, 2010).  She loves working with children and adults of all ages.  Notes & Tones uses both Piano Safari and Suzuki curriculum, and supplements as directed by student need or interest.  An emphasis is placed on reading music and understanding music, and at the same time, improvisation and playing by ear is encouraged.

Lynnann has limited space in her studio at the moment, she will be accepting new students in Summer, 2023.
